Dirt Defender Wheel Cover & Ring

Dirt Defender wheel cover is constructed to allow a universal fit application.  The design allows the ability to interchange between beadlock or non-beadlock wheel.  There is no more hassle or digging through a pile of covers to find the right one.  Simply keep an extra Dirt Defender cover as a spare and use it on either wheel if needed.  The covers will fit most all wheels including Aero, Bart, Bassett, MRW, Keister, Weld, and Real wheels to name a few. The wheel ring setup is powder coated to a brilliant white giving it a professional appearance along with an element of safety for visibility in case it ends up on the track. RAZOR CHASSIS TAKES SHARP TITLE ROLE AS SPONSOR OF IMCA'S SOUTH CENTRAL REGION

PLATTE CENTER, Neb. (Feb. 28) - A familiar name in the chassis building business is the new title sponsor of the South Central Region for IMCA Modifieds.

Razor Chassis, owned by Travis Roth, pays part of the $6,000 point fund for top 10 drivers int he region that includes tracks in Texas and southern New Mexico.

"We want to be a good representative for this region," said Roth, who relocated Razor to Platte Center from LeMars, Iowa, after completing his purchase of the company last May.  "We want to grow our business and there are new opportunities for us to do so in both states."

Razor builds both Modified and Northern SportMod chassis and took top Manufacturer's Cup honors in the North Central region in 2013.

"What I've enjoyed most about this business is the customers.  I enjoy helping them become better drivers and win more races," Roth said.  "Our motto has been 'We help build champions.' We want to help drivers be successful."

Constant research and development goes into those efforts.  Chris Abelson, Travis Dickes, Luke Wanninger and Wade Cross will all give Modified input while defending IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey's champion Carter VanDenBerg, two-time national runner-up Kyle Prauner and Clint Luellen help fine tune SportMods research and development.

"We want to build safe, fast race cars tat are driver friendly," said Roth.  "We're not in business to have the fanciest showroom or build the most cars.  We want to build every race car to perfection and give every driver the tech support they deserve."

Razor retails high performance parts and now shares a renovated facility more than 31,000 square feet in size with Roth Racing Performance, Inc., Shell Valley Classic Wheels and International Wholesale.

Shell Valley manufactures custom fiberglass classic car kits.  International Wholesale sells street rod performance parts to customers worldwide.

Buildings include a remodeled warehouse with parts store and shipping department, finishing bay, race bay for maintenance and tin work, fabrication fiberglass trim shop and manufacturing.

Razor also has two office buildings, one of which will be replaced by a new office.

Roth previously sold Modified and Late Model chassis for other builders.  He's a third generation driver, following in the tire tracks of his grandfather Dale and father Reg.  His sons Anthony and Trent continue the family tradition and now race in the sanctioned Modified and Northern SportMod divisions respectively.

"We've had a lot of fun, a lot of heartaches and a lot of headaches all at the same time over the years," Roth said.  "And I wouldn't change a thing. Racing has given us experiences as a family that we'll never be able to have again."

Champion of the Razor Chassis South Central Region earns a $2,500 share of the point fund.  The runner-up gets $1,250 with $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th.

Drivers must display two Razor Chassis decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares.  more information about Razor-build chassis is available by calling 402 246-2021, at the www.razorchassisbyclark.net website and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Roth.Racing and www.facebook.com/RazorChassisByRoth.

The Razor Chassis by Roth page is updated during racing season with current feature wins.

"The Razor brand had a really good season in 2013 and we've used that to step into an increase partnership in 2014," IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder said.  "We've really enjoyed working with Razor through our Manufacturers' Cup program.  Their title sponsorship seemed like the natural progression and was in stride with their marketing goals as a company."
